Salt Treatments

When treating with Salt do you use table salt or Aquarium salt from the pet store or does it not matter?

Aquarium salt would be best. If you can't get that, make sure that the salt you get is sodium chloride (no other additives). You can fine sodium chloride at your local grocery store.

Pickling salt and kosher salt work just fine and are cheaper than aquarium salt

Aquarium salt is basically food grade rock salt at about 5 times the cost. Go to Safeway. lol

Rock salt like you would use if you were making home made ice cream. You can pick it up at wal-mart or your local grocery store for about $3.00 a bag.
