juvies with adults

Hi there,

I have been raising 3 jouvies and I was wondering at what size would it be ok to put them with 3 adults (roughly 3 1/2"). The babies are about 1 1/2" - 2" from tail to nose.

I'd wait until they were at least 3 inches.

i'd wait a while longer too. if you're feeding them more than the others, they may catch up a bit. if you wait til they're over 3" or so, they'll have a better shot at food, and maybe not get picked on.

thanks guys. When sizing, do I measure from nose to end of tail or nose to beginning of the tail?

(i read the long post about that here in forums, but never really noticed a conclusion)

Nose to caudal peduncal (begining of tail) is standard length. Nose to end of tail is total length.
