cyclopeeze is found as a frozen zooplankton red in color and about the same size as bbs. anybody ever use this instead of hatching bbs for your baby discus? this is mainly a saltwater food for corals and other filter feeders.

I use both but the CYCLOP-EEZE I put into my Turkey mixture. I still hatch out Brine Shrimp to feed to my young fry along with serveral other foods such as Golden Pearls, Decapsulated Brine Shrimp (non-hatching)SuperBits, and NLS Growth food. I also feed it to my baby Koi Angels that I got from Mellow Aquatics last year. I like it and I get it in the Deep Frozen Blocks.

I never use bbs or anything like that at all...

I've tried it but had a few problems and found it to be time consuming.
What I do now is leave the fry with the parents until the parents either chase them away or start to lose scales.

By doing this I've never lost any fish from the dreaded 4-week old symdrome.
