My two month old Erupt x Lep fry are developing some beautiful colors already. But whats interesting to me is that the gold/brown base has a transparent look, as if the red and blue is on the surface of a semi-clear body. It's really amazing to look at. Is that the "norm" for this type of discus? I've only ever raised Yellow PB types before and they didn't have the same 3-D look to them. They were solid yellow so didn't have different base and surface colors to show against each other. I just thought it was a very cool look and wondered if they all go through this stage.
