How Long Between Spawns

My 2 pigeon blood discus had a successful spawn about 1 and a half months ago. I moved them to their own tanks almost 2 weeks ago. Will they spawn again or will they just swim around idly?

How often a breeding pair spawn often reflects their age. The young pairs will spawn every 10 days. The older pairs will typically spawn once a month. All this assumes that they feel like spawning.

Older adults will rapidly resume spawning when they get moved to a new tank. I've had pairs spawn in less than a week. Not infrequently, however, they will often just kick back and enjoy the food and the water changes. If this is a proven pair, putting in an extra discus may bring some excitement back into the relationship.
