My discus has flagellates, but I can't find Metronidazole. Will Metro for hole in the head disease work to treat the fish. I'm Desperate!!

They should be the same medicine as metronidazole is used to treat hole in the head. I have seen pure metronidazole sold as "metrozol" and "Hex-a-mit." Hope this helps.

Check to see how much metro per dose . . . you want 400 - 500 mg per 10 gallons. Medications like parasite clear hardly have any metro.
