Crazy,
Your tank is really very nice! I love the plants and the little pots for them to go into. Nice job for your first... can't wait to see your second, third, fourth... lol
I love those little rammies myself. They are so pretty. I think your Discus will love it.

Thanks for that Candy. I have like 3 pairs of rams in there now. I want to get maybe 2 - 4 juvi discus. Its only a standard 3ft tank. I'm only planning to keep the discus in there for maybe a couple of months and when they get a little bigger I'll have a 4 / 6 ft tank ready for them to grow up. Any suggestions? Thanks guys!

Crazy,
I have learned that it is best to get a group of discus as they are schooling fish. You might want to get 6 instead of 4. They will feel more secure. I also think it's easier to raise babies in a bare bottom tank since they have to eat so much. Cleaning is much easier in a BB. But i really like your setup and think that once you have some adults they would love the planted tank! How are your rams doing? Finding territories ok? I love to just sit and watch them. They sure have alot of personality for such a small fish! All the best.
Candy:)
P.S.
Nice pics.. i like the little blue one too.
Do you have golden rams too?

Thanks Candy. The rams are doing fine except one of the male blue and gold rams sits on each side of the corner most of theday. Is that like a territorial kina thing. I don't know a lot about rams. What are the signs if they pair up with each other? Thanks a lot!
