Should I leave the light on after my discus have spawned? My concern is spooking them when I turn the light on in the morning or am I just being overly causious. Thanks

Dom

Dom, a weak night light over the tank will solve that problem.

hehe a couple of weeks ago my friend stepped right into a bucket on the floor that was full of water,
anybody know how to get formalin stains out of pants?

lol Rod I think having a light on 24-7 would'nt be enough for that guy, maybe some road pylons and reflective tape and signs might do the trick.

Lol poor Dom ;-)

most people keep some sorta light on 24-7 so there is some ambiant light in the room. just enough that the parents can see their fry.

You don't want the room to go from dark to light quickly, alot of pairs like to round up their fry and move them to a safe place for the night, Kinda like its bed time, go put your pj's on and wait behind the sponge filter for your brothers and sisters, we'll come tuck you in after we track down you siblings.

so you want to give them enough time and light to do that.
