Eggs turned white

My discus pair spawned on Tuesday evening last night I noticed some of the eggs turned white. By this morning all eggs were gone. Fish are in a 20 gal high ph 8 gh 6 temp 86. Why did the eggs turn white and how can I prevent this from happening again. Thanks for any help

The male might be infertile or too young. Give them time. Did all the eggs turn white before they were eaten or only some? It is normal for some eggs to turn white.
