my ph is 7.6 i would like to know if home bread discus would be alright. i use ro water and put the minnerals back in that are needed. thankyou dave:confused:

your pH is fine. The important thing is to keep it constant.
What is your gH? You might not need R/O if it is not too high.

my discus are in pH 7.8 and gH 11 and they do fine

hi nacra99 thakyou my gh and kh are 6 gh 7kh. i have to use ro as my tapwater is over 9 and they use chorline in the water over here in the uk . a merry xmas and happy new year to you:santa:

I hope you use a prefilter for the RO filter as the chlorine in the water will harm the RO membrane.

yes i use a three stage ro unit my ph has been 7.6 for the past 5 weeks. the ro unit is a kent one.
