Well, Chicago is in the midst of our first major snowstorm :( They say up to 8 inches, but.. I think we're past that already :( My youngest daughter left for work at 4:30.. didn't make it so turned around to head home... it's 10:30 now and she's still about an hour out.. normal drive time is about 20 minutes each way.. her fuel empty lights been on for about an hour.. may have to go on a rescue run if she doesn't make it another mile :(
God I hate snow :p It's sure pretty, but what a PITA :antlers:
Happy Holidays to all anyway :)

Good news Jim!!
Bet that scared ya!! I know it would have freaked my dad out!
Anyhow, glad to hear that she is safe at home.
Happy Holidays!!
Candy
I'm glad she made it hom ok Jim!!!
We had our own little arctic blast as well... About 3 weeks ago all the forecasters predicted the "warmest winter on record" with "an occasional dip into freezing temps". That very night the temp dropped into the 10's and hasn't left ;)
We got a foot of snow last night...
I still don't know how to use my camera but here goes :o

Timbo!! Gross!!!
I like the other pics of the snow. I miss it sometimes. I lived in Boulder, Colorado for awhile and it snowed all the time. I don't miss driving in it though thats for sure!

it's the hat, isnt it.
I knew I shouldnt have worn that old thing.
That same system is now here in Nova Scotia as a weather bomb. An anticipated 10" is expected. Oh well, here we go again!!

We had two pretty good snows this past week.
Suppose to get another one this coming Wednesday.
Al,
Get a snowblower, its a bit easier on the back. You're still young, but us older guys need the help of the snow removal machines.:D

Al,
You just need a plow on that Hummer H2 you have. Don't be afraid of scratching that vehicle !!!! LOLOLOL
Jack
A plow is good, but nothing runs like a Deere.
Actually, I am getting the snowblower attachment this week or next. I think it will do a much better job...72" at a time!
