ok, this may be a stupid question but here goes, as i am unsure and dont want to do this until i know its ok.

I want to move a fluval 304 that has been on another tank which has been running empty for past couple weeks. Its now been sitting on my counter top for a day as i cleaned it all out, sponges, walls, hoses etc. I want to add it to my 90g planted tank with a fluval 404 already on it. Can i just hook it up and go or do i have to do anything special?

If your new tank is already cycled, you should be able to add it with no problem.

Yes you can add it.

The only thing is it can carry some nasties from the other tank if that filter has not been cleaned.
The biofilter is already dead, so I would clean it first, sterilize any sponges by wetting them and putting them in the microwave on high for 3 minutes.
