Rather than pay the high prices for aquaclear or fluval media bags...what do you guys use for them...ive heard some people use womans pantyhose? Does that work?

Go to the paint department of Home Depot. They sell all nylon filter bags made to strain either one gallon or 5 gallon pails of paint. The one gallon size costs about $1 and the 5 gallon size is about $2.50.

I use them to hold the biomedia in my Eheim cannisters.

Very interesting...Do they last longer than bio bags or others?
