Large Spot On Snakeskin After Temp Drop...

Hopefully some of you read all my others posts so ya know that our power went off for 2-3 hours this morning~

After all was said and done, When I was feeding them, I noticed a large, not white, dull gray perhaps, spot on my favorite discus, my blue snakeskin, it is right above his eye almost in between both eyes~

I know that Ich ( sp ) looks more like sprinkled powered sugar...I also know a pic would help, I will check into that. But do you guys think it could be due to the sudden temp drop? Or a confrontation with peer? omg, I sound like I am at work....lol! ...with another fish???


Should I continue to add salt? 1teaspoon per 10gal? or 2?

I want to take him out and apply Neosporin!! We use that on all our pups all the time for everything!!

Hi Marie,
At this point I would not worry too much... its too soon for anything like that to have happened because of this morning.. maybe a skittish response and mild injury.

I would give it a day and see what it looks like.:)

It is probably just his coloring due to all the stress? He should be fine like Al and Carol said. But how did YOU survive it all; feeling better? :p
