Tank Problem

The glass on one side of my tank is slightly bowed out, and separated from the other glass by about 2 mm in one spot. I'm afraid the front of the tank could blow out at any time. Has anyone else seen anything like this on one of their tanks. This is a used tank, but I've had it about a year. I'm not sure if the problem is new, or if my new light - went from 40 watts to 96 watts just let me see the problem.

Here is a picture of it - taken at extreme close up. The front panel of glass appears black in the picture, with lighter edges. Then you see the separation - you are actually looking at silicone with some algae, then the other pane of glass.

I'd make sure the tank is perfectly level to avoid futher seperation.

I'm going to buy a new tank - if the tank bursts while I'm at work I'll come home to a flooded room and dead discus.

Mack - I'll take your advice and make sure the stand is level before setting up the new tank.
