orange scorpions from gold mount

Okay guys a while back in nov i bought some discus and 3 orange scorpions there young but i think i got a pair this morning. I feed them but they didnt go fro the food but my rams did turned out they laid a bunch of eggs on the plastic pipe on the spong filter i know there young but am checking to see if the eggs are fertile... I wlll try to post pics am waiting for my bro with the camera.l......

That is real funny!!! I am glad they worked out as pairs for you. I sexed them by some of the info at Simply, but to tell you the truth, it was pure luck. Only way to tell for sure is if it lays eggs, its a female and if the eggs are fertile, the one with the female is a male. hahahaha In a communtity tank, it could be the one with a sly smile on its face is the male and the one with the female is another female. hahahaha

LOL tru that i couldnt get the camera but am sure they way lay some more the eggs aRE still there but i will be better prepared for them by turning off the pumps etc. BUt thanks frank I ve been so happy with my orange scorpions i do water changes everyday the pictures dont do them justice mine have grown... Once again thanks frank will post pics........ somebody wanted to but my orange scopions but i was like no way Jose........;p looking foward for more fish from frank you cant go wrong.;p
