Adult Discus more Healthier

Hi

Have you noticed that your adult discus seem to be the most healthist, rarely get sick but the smaller and younger the discus are the greater the chance for the Discus to get sick and possibly die?
If this is the case then would we assume it best to purchase adult Discus vs Juiv?

I'm definately in agreeance with you. Little ones are so susceptible to everything. Sub-adults to adult size are better (3" or bigger). You at least know they made it this far so they must be in pretty good shape. Much more enjoyable when you dont have to constantly worry about them. Mike

The biggest mistake I think that people make when they look at livestock is to think it is different from them in terms of disease.. When you look at people...The children are the most susceptible to most bugs ...because their immune systems are not developed yet... Fish are the same as are all other animals in this capacity.:)


Immune systems develop from immune responses to something they encounter ,,that takes time.:)
