I'll be picking up some 1 inch babies from this pair in the next couple of days and was wonding if any of the experts here could identify what strain they are and what type of babies they will throw.

The attached fry on them is the actual little ones i'll be getting.

They are at 1 inch now.

And yes all pics are of the same fish even know some pics show more red in the fins.

No .... they werent sure either ... lol.

I believe they also posted the pics before and the thought then was a Turk - PB mix.

I havent seen the parents in person and from the pics its dfinately tough to tell cause some of the pics show alot of red and orange in the fins but the pics of the pair together doesnt show that.

Hopefully i'll be able to see the parents when i pick up the fry.

Im not to worried about it .............. cause the price is right .......... 20 one inch babies for FREE. But it would be nice to know what to call them and to know exactly what bloodline they are incase i grow them out and they breed as well .... lol.

Kinda safe to go with blues. Make up your own name once you have them. Maybe you can single handedly introduce a new strain. Blue,,,,HMMMMM,,,,ocean greens are mostly blue also, but have no markings.
Seriously, my vote is for some kind of cross with a cobalt. I have one very similar that cant decide what it is either. Oh well, very cool anyway. Should make some good lookin kids though.

I would also call them Brilliant Blues or Brilliant Turqs. As far as if they are from Stendker, I couldn't say for sure.

Wattley had some beautiful Brilliant Blues back in the day and so did Bing Seto.

They're nice fish though. :)

Looks like a briliant to me... It could be an ocean green.. They carry lines like brilliants until they get bigger.

My "vote" is cobalt x blue turquoise cross, but they are real nice whatever they are!

They originally came from a breeder in chicago if that helps any .... lol.

The babies are eating like pigs now too so hopefully they'll grow out nice.
