Hi Marie, that was a very touching reminder of things we need to change in our lives. Its so easy to read those words and just think its is nice, or touching or true. The real challenge is to put your thoughts in action. It has to start within each one of us. We cant change the world, people around us, we must start with ourselves. Today i have a rare day off with my wife and three little girls. I was planning on reorganizing the garage, then setting up my new 125g tank. Both can wait. My kids wont be 2,5, and 6 for long. Im taking them skating. (no, there are no frozen lakes in Canada where i live, im going to a rink) Marie, im going to paste that link somewhere so i see it often, as a reminder to slow down, and value what really needs valueing, PEOPLE, not things.

I've been trying to work more at that as my kids are growing up and probably in a couple yrs starting to leave home.

Discus can wait, time with the kids is now. Fishing and spending time together:)
Who knows how long one will live or be able to spend quality time with the family?
