If a batch of eggs stayed brown for two days ( then was eaten) does that mean it most likely was fertilized properly by a male. Reason i ask cause im not sure if i have another female\female pair or a male\female pair, ive only seen one of the sex organs on the blue turq , havnt seen the blue ss yet?
There were 5 or 6 white eggs, the rest stayed brown. ( about 50 eggs):confused:

I have been told that after approx 30 hours, the dark ones are the ones that have been fertilized.

Unfertilized eggs should definitely turn white in two days.

Unfertilized eggs may stay tan for days. Fertilized eggs get dark eyes and turn black after 24+ hours.
