Live Bloodworms??

Hi guys, this is a great forum. I've been lurking for a while but this is my first post.

Here's my situation.. I'm living in Bangkok, Thailand and live food is very abundant. I can get live bloodworms for about $1 a pound. What I'm not sure of is how safe it is to give them to discus. Are there any cleaning/disinfecting procedures I can follow to clean them up? It would be a shame to use the frozen version when the live ones are so cheap.

I would imagine you would use the same technique as using like blackworms ...... RINSE RINSE RINSE & RINSE again.

But ive never used live foods but some on here with better knowledge might be able to give you some advice.
