getting better on their own

I was wondering if any of you have found that one of your Discus was sick for awhile eg: white pooh, dark etc and then on their own they seemed to get better

the reason I ask one of my discus had long white pooh for the last couple of days and was keeping to itself wasnt eating but it still looked healthy and wasnt dark and now its swimming around and looking for food.

I wonder if like us ( having a cold) they eventually get better on their own

Yes, discus have an immune system and healthy discus can beat a viral infection, etc. just like a dog or cat
