Starting an Altum biotype tank

Working on a new project. Had these guys since last march. Largest is about 10 inches from top to bottom. Anyone have any ideas on how to get the driftwood to sink? It's been floating in the 125 for about 3 months.

Did you remove the slate base to the driftwood - the way the right side/ bottom is cut, it looks like maybe there was a slate base attached at one time. If you can, put that back on, and then weigh the base down with some rocks (nothing that dissolves). Petrified wood is nice and heavy.

If you can, try boiling it for a couple hours and leave it soaking in cool water afterwards. - Poe
