I was wondering just outa curriosity who has the most. I was just thinking satisticly I like numbers. I'm trying to get a feel for number because I have alot of fish and I'm a college student age of 20. So i am wondering roughly how far will I go befor a oh no or a wife/g/f tells me to much lol.

You do not need to say how many just food for thought for everyone

19 disucs
10 simes algee eaters
8 Cardnals
2 dwarf guramies
1 yellow pleco.

40 fish in a 55 gallon and 112

I hope I didn't hurt, offend or do anything wrong.

You don't want to know my bills (my wife doesn't either) I strive to break even so my hobby pays for itself, but I go on collecting trips and to fish shows and the fish pay for that too! I enjoy it all, it's not really work to me, beats the %ell out of my day job! Ken

yeah I hear you. My grandma always told me that your hobby shouldn't make you money because its a hobby but if you have 20 pairs breeding all the time. You have to be able to come above even. Its good you enjoy it.

:D :D I'm down to 4 tanks now, had 10 goin' at one time... maybe about 20 discus, 5 julii cories, & 4 dwarf plecos, 1 of'm is albino..3 electric yellow cichlids, oh & a parrot fish left over from the vet office, now closed....when I'm resettled, would like to increase the discus #s & add cichlids & saltwater fish, will need more tanks, lol, Dottie :p

You had a parriot fish the salt water one? I love them and angels but never see to many nice ones in lfs. How big did he get? is it hard to have a salt water parriot fish since they eat coral?

I'm not sure if I can get an exact number, but here goes:

125 Gallon planted:
4 Adult Discus
6 German Blue Rams
4 Australian Rainbows
20 Cardinal Tetras
2 Bristlenose Plecos
3 Clown Plecos
5 Otocinclus (Spelling?)
8 Cory Cats
Some fry where I have no idea what fish is responsible for it.

72 Gallon Bowfront with Rock Background and Plastic Plants
4 Angels
6 German Blue Rams
2 SAE
2 Sailfin Mollies
8 Black Neon
3 Cory Cats
I set this tank up for the wife in the living room, so she can't complain too much.

75 Gallon Bare Bottom
9 Juvenile Discus

60 Gallon Bare Bottom
Leopard Pigeon Pair
Marlboro Red Pair
I put them together to get the spawning going

4 29 Gallon Breeder
1 Snakeskin Pair
1 Pineapple Pair
1 lonely Rose Red Male ( Female died in Shipping, waiting for Replacement)
1 Currently empty

My fishroom is in my garage, and I am currently putting another separation wall in so I can expand some more for the future.

Too many Discus to count but a good estimate would be at least 125 of them. This is not counting eggs. If you want to add in my German Blue Rams put another 75-100 there so I am think I have between 200-250 fish

Yay, I'm down to one tank right now...

6 Red Melons
4 Wild Discus
21 Clown Loaches

roclement

now...about 30 fish between my discus, redtail catfish, arowana, angels...
at work I have a mini reef in my office and a 350gl african tank in my main dining room, about 30 fish there.
previously I had a fishroom in my basement I was up to a couple of hundred discus only. That was hard on the pocket but mostly I ran out of time to maintain them properly.

No, not SW, it's a common freshwater fish, pretty old now, originally had 4 in the vet hospital tank, but this survivor is pretty tough, just can't kill her, (she lays eggs constantly). These poor fish are the ones that are dyed by the industry & sold as blues & greens, eventually wear out & back to orange. I was not aware of this coloring procedure when these were put into the tank, must be over 4+ yrs old now....lol.....

We have three tanks right now:

2.5 gallon mini
1 snail
1 betta

25 gallon - was our starter tank, is now the QT/hospital tank.
Currently housing 2 not-so-well little discus.

135 gallon planted tank
6 blue rams
1 flying fox
1 farlowella catfish
6 discus
* had two young bala sharks until this weekend, but gave them away. Far to good of eaters to keep with young discus (they were getting soooo fat)

hey jim i find the fish are better then women. Few resons There compassionet, they know when your feeling down, there always there for you, they never arguee with you, and they're never going to ly cheat and steel.

In the end the woman that will complete me as much as my hobby will come intime. The friends that I have made on hear, and the discus I have compensats for being married. In time she will come at the least expected time.

and Hexed I to have 20 but its better then never having any at all or being they guy/lady that wants them but they die on them.
