??? STRANGE WAKE UP ???

I'm new to discus. I have 13 Discus in a 80 Gal. 6x 1", 3x ~3", 3x 4" & 1x 5". When I woke up the morning and open the aquarium light the discus are moving at the bottom boucing here and there! The first time I tough they where all dying... After a few minutes (between 5 and 15) they start moving in the midle and look like they actualy wake up. Is this behaviour is normal when Discus Wake up?
Sorry if someone as already ask this question but I read a lot of thread tonight searching for response but I found nothing about it.

Discus are sensitive to light and will get startled easily.
I turn on a room light first for a while and let them wake up before I turn on the tank lights.

I haven't seen mine bounce, but recently I saw them all pale, they even lost the color in their eyes, which is a sign that they are sleeping!! Weird... could be that is how yours wake up.. i'm not sure. As long as they are eating and swimming and showing good colors, I wouldn't really worry.
