Does anyone know any good titles about a good overall discus book. Something that gets into all aspects of discus like feeding, breeding, caring, and even some nice pics???? or will they all just be repeat information from websites????

try the search function; you will find that this site is more informative than most books

Discus for the Perfectionist - Wattley
Penang Discus, 2nd edition - Yeng
Success with Discus - Quarles
Adventures with Discus - Mayland
Discus Health - Untergasser
Discus, The Naked Truth - Soh

These books contain alot of great practical info from knowledgable discus pro's. There are others, too.

Personally, I differ in opinion above. These books contain more info than most people at our level possess. Like, Wattley forgot more about discus than I'll ever have.

I'm waiting for this one to come out:

Bleher's Discus

Might turn out to be an interesting read.

np, but i still think that most of the knowledge in every one of those books is available here from contributors, resource links, experience, etc., in one form or another. One of the above mentioned authors answers member's unique questions here as well. I wouldnt discount what this forum means and contributes to the success of its members. Its certainly been more valuable to me than my library. my opinion only

Timbo,

Yes, there is really good info here. I didn't mean to imply otherwise. There is bad info on the forums as well. This info will not be found in books written by the likes of Wattley, Au, Yeng, Quarels, Untergasser, etc. There is less for a novice to have to discern in these books.
