I have 2-3'' Discus, and I'm curious as to what the average growth should be if fed frozen bloodworms twice a day with water quality kept good.

Healthy, young juveniles will grow abut a half inch per month with a varied diet and lots of clean water.

Hey Jon... I would feed them more than twice.... maybe 4 times a day. A good mix of foods would be Flake, and some sort of pellet in addition to bloodworms. There are lots of articles here on that subject :)

Yes varied diet, a few times a day, I use tetrabits, beefheart, hikari frozen bloodworms, and small red wiggler worms
clean wc's
large enough tank, but not too big that they are lost:)
also do better in a group of at least 4

they do better in non planted, no gravel tanks imo
I have raised some in the past with gravel, but never attained great growth.

I have to say that Carol is "dead on" my Juvie Snakeskin that I got on Jan 16th has added about a half inch of growth over a month! and it looks like my pigoen blood is nearing that mark also in a months time.
I am "power feeding" with 5 to six healthy feedings a day, and 30 - 40% water changes.
