Fish Tank Manufactures

Can anyone tell me the difference in fish tank manufactures? I'm looking at starting a discuss tank and tring to decide on what tank to buy. Locally I can get "All Glass" "Perfecto" or "Great Lakes" brands. Great Lakes is by far the cheapest however are they good tanks? I'm looking at a Great Lakes 85 gal. Any help would be greatly apprecieated

Hello Sweenja! Welcome to the forum.

Personally i have never used "Great Lakes" Brand. All my tanks are either All-Glass or Perfecto. I like these 2 because of their similar "standard" sizes. Their accessories (hoods, versa-tops etc) are interchangeable and are easily available. It might be difficult getting replacements for tanks which are of uncommon shapes and sizes. Also, their tank sizes suit most hobbyists requriements.
I've not had a problem with them yet.
