A list of all the meds and what they are used for would be nice.

I believe alot of them are used for the same purposes by some and ive been a bit confused on what to use myself.

So far ive used the seachem metro and the prazipro liquid.

By the way .... does anyone sell food with metro in it??

salt, epson salt, meth blue, kanamycin, nitrofuracin green (essentially bulk furan2 with salt), metro, prazi.

I got my kanamycin, metro, and prazi from Jehmco. The nitrofuracin green is from nationalfishpharm.com - they also carry the other products too but I haven't compared those prices yet. The powder version of Furan2 is much cheaper than are the capsules.

Hey guys i checked Jehmco, they have nice stuff. i like the medicated flakes there is also fishypharmacy in tuscon. They have good prices am going to look into getting some furan 2, kanamycin, metro, and prazi. Lets me compare some prices. Jehmco seems to be pretty descent.

Just have a question for those who listed Kanamycin. When do you decide to use it (i.e. what symptoms)?

Thanks.

Hi Sam,

I use it for internal bacteria symptoms ie: bloat, dropsy, pop-eye. Works well for some fungal infections too like fin rot.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for the info! Also, what dosage and treatment schedule do you use?

Hi TrevorB,

I've tried Fungus Eliminator for fin rot. I find Furan 2 works better.

Trevor

Yes, I prefer the fungus eliminator to Furan 2. I don't like the fungus eliminator in the tablet (buddy )form which has one less ingredient than the powder form (I can't remember which one it was).

The 2.5oz bottle treats 75gallons so, its the perfect size.

I keep Jungle Fungus Eliminator, Ampicillin, Quick-Cure, and Metro.

I think I just need to add a wormer of some kind and I will have almost everything covered!

Any recomendations on wormers?
