I posted a question few months ago regarding one of my discus who was freaking out, banging himself in the glass, jumping and hitting the fixture on top and after few mins, acting like nothing happened. Well, the same fish after no episode in few months happened again. And now, for some reason, the fish just expired. The fish was acting normal, fins erected, eating and looks as healthy as it can be. water temp was maintained at 82, WC once every three days. same diet, nothing added. Has anyone encountered this scenario? It happened before like what I said, I simply added some salt, increased the temp a bit, and everything went ok. But this time, it claimed a life. My concern is, I dont know why it even happened. What caused it to happen. I have other discus in the same tank, and I am concerned that there might be something in the tank that caused it. I am doing a big WC as we speak, hoping it will eradicate the thing that caused it. Let me know what you guys think.
