I AM LOCAL TO DC METRO and Can not ship at this moment. I believe there must be a lot of friends out there that will ask for shipping but unfortunately at this moment of year, I am not able to ship. Sorry.

I have a breeding pair of pigeon blood discus that have brought up a large batch of babies. I have about 80 of them in Dime size. They are about 5 weeks old and I can see them growing every day. Currently the babies are of DIME size and eat like pigs! They eat flakes and TetraColor pellets and blood worms. They will grow into shining red color pigeon blood discus. I am looking for $8 each. Let me know how many you want and I can come up with a batch discount definitely. Picture tells a million words! Send me email to Jackson_Tsu@hotmail.com.

Are you raising fry with gravel in your tank??

DiscusFront

Yes, I do. All my breeder tanks has gravels. I found that it is a good way to make them feel secure.

Hmmm, interesting indeed, how often are you doing water changes and do you vacume the gravel?

DiscusFront

Vacuum every day and add new water. Actually see the fish grow every day. Now they are half bigger than the picture shows.

In your pics you have a clay pot, I was told not to put clay pots in tanks because they can fall apart and kill any fish.....is this true........I just removed mine???

I have used clay pots in many tanks. I break holes in the sides of them for smaller cichlids, or turn the smaller pots on their sides for hiding places. I have also used upside down clay pots for angelfish to put their fry on. Never had any problems. Make sure that you clean them well before using them. I boiled mine for 5 or 10 minutes. Otherwise, I've never had issues.

Don't know where the info from about clay pot broken in the tank but I used clay pots for my fish breeding for last 10 years and no problem. You may want to try it yourself.
