View Full Version : BUBBLE ON EYE

My MR has a large bubble on his eye. The eye itself is not protruding. Looks like a small cap of mucus, not covering entire eye, not cloudy, is clear with a perspectively huge bubble coming off of it. He is eating normal and acting normal. Water is very good. Do I treat as infection or just let it be???

Thanks,

Tina

First line of defense is extra water changes and 2 tablespoons salt per 10 gallons - observe for a day or two and see if improves or worsens . . .

Hi Carol,

Already have. I normally do 50% daily. Added salt a couple of days ago. He is still the same. It really doesn't seem to be bothering him at all. It looks kind of like those gold fish with the bubble eyes, except it stems from his eye. Strange.
