i really love the look of this repti sand..it doesn have any additives or calcium do u guys think it would be ok in a aquarium?

Hi: I looked at that at one time for a planted tank, but the price was out of this world. Go to Lowes or Menards and get the Silic sand. Looks like the same thing and is only around 3 bucks for 40ty pounds. There is also a black for sand blasting that is beautiful. Both safe for fish, but take a while to settle out.

do they have the silica sand in like a reddish or brownish color

pool filter sand can be found at any pool and spa supply. it is white and only about $8 for 50 lbs.

i kinda always wanted pure whit sand anyways..and 8$ is more resonable for 50lbs than about14$ for 10lbs...thanx!

dont use the repti sand i doesnt sink i used it and it made the glass and water pure red and it sticks to everything when wet its like clay
