dark discus

hey i just switched my 30g tank over to a discus tank it is not a bare bottom tank(gravel,drift wood, silk plants) at my LFS he had stress stripes but he was only $10 so i took him home now he's almost black my nitrates are 20-30 and ammonis and nitirtes are zero temp is 85
hes my first and only discus
in the tank there is 2 angels 1 died this is why i'm worried the discus(blue turquise) and a skunk loach

your nitrates is to high it should be between 0 to 20 ppm not higher then that so do some w/c about 50%

ok i just added nitra-zorb in my filter so mayb that will help and i'm gonna do a 50% w/c 2morrow

nitra-zorb is not going to eliminate the nitrite is just going to neutralize it, what do you use to condition your water after the w/c.if you dont al recommend some prime.good luck :D
