safe epoxy resin and hardener

and i found the price for his stuff that he used but i seen othere epoxy kits for cheaper but how do i know if they are safe

You won't know if it's safe unless you try it yourself or know someone who has. Instead of trying to cut corners and save a few pennies why not use the proven method that works and rest assured your Discus will be OK.

I was thinking the same thing since that other epoxy only comes in large sizes, found an article of someone using a different epoxy here:
