Does the eye color changes as the discus grow older?

I saw some young snakeskins with pink eyes. I was thinking that their eye colors are still developing.

I've never seen any change color. Only when they are young the eye color will change.

Only time I have seen color change is temporarily when they are pissed or in the mood for breeding. My Ocean Green (Juliet) her eyes are normally dark red but they turn bright yellow when she gets excited or mad. Then they return to normal. Its like little discus headlights on high beam, lol.
