What Are They Doing?!?

My two most aggressive top dog discus just started doing something new. They swim up next to eachother and kind of tail whip eachother.....One will do it, and then the next will turn around and do it. What the heck is that? I have had them 3 days now...4.5 months old. Thanks guys!!

Yep...tail swatting, lip locking, head butts, chasing, etc. Normal behavior to show who wears the pants in the tank.

Thats a perfectly normal behavior for young discus, mine usually do that when they are mad at one another.
