How old do Discus have to be to breed?

Are there any signs you can see on a discus to see how old they are? Is there anything you can do to help them get intamit. I know when I had angels after feedings and wc they got started mating.

I heard that the male needs to be older like 12 months plus, and the female needs to be 9 months or older.

Once they are old enough, I think turning the lights down and playing some Barry White tunes might do the trick.
