Congratulations to Willie Loh, a.k.a. Coconuts, on taking Best in Show at the Midwest Cichlid Expo 2006 show with his beautiful Mandarin Passion discus.

The show was held in Des Moines this past weekend, and a good time was had by all. It was a great warm-up to ACA in Chicago in July!

Jack Taylor and Willie Goh gave a presentation and brought some of their gorgeous LSS, Mandarin Passions, Ocean Greens, and Mazes. I have some swimming in my tank now! :D

Because of the similarity of their names, people get confused. In fact, at the Expo 2006, they listed Willie Loh as the speaker and posted a picture when in actuality, Willie Goh and Jack Taylor gave a presentation entitled Discus in the Heartland.

Congrats to all the award winners at the EXPO 2006. Thanks for posting the many photos Linda. I'm sure you got a lot more for later.

It was great to meet our friends again, and talked to some new discus hobbyists there. Sorry Al, we forgot to bring a recorder. But, if we get the chance again, we will "juice" up the topic. LOL.
