I have been asked by some of the members here to post some pics and to let it be known that I do indeed have some available for purchase. They range from two to three inches in length and are thriving in my tank. Wish I could get some shots of mom and dad, but they just don't want to come out of that ol hollow log.

Pictures just don't do these fella's justice. They are jet black with white specs and a powderblue outline of the dorsal and anal fins. I never could find very much on them when I originally purchaseD my originals so when the started spawning for me, I was suprised to say the least.

With my camera it is hard to get a good close-up. Dad is over six inches easy. Mom smaller at four, four and a half inches. Glad you like them.

Very cool! I saw some of those on another site that I use for reference and hubby and I were checking them out. Now to find you have them lol. I had never seen them in the store before, when did you stop selling them there?

Are they good on algae? And they are in with your discus so I am assuming they dont mess with the discus?

Thats not too far. If you really oxygenate the bag and maybe those bag buddies things or whatever it is that basically dopes up the fish lol you can make a trip and pick some up. We drive to LI all the time. Southampton. We might be out there in June actually. I believe with a 4yr old and a 1 yr old in the car.. it takes us about 8hrs tops? I cant remember now, but it wasn't too bad. It takes us 4 to get to Maryland. My parents live there so we visit a lot.
