I guess it has been awhile since ive checked the site ..... lol.
Been real busy with alot of outside projects lately and just havent had time to check in but now things are slowing down so hopefully i can check back in regularly.
This all started when cleaning out my shed to make room for some stuff out of my back room to setup my fish area .............. and boy did that get me side tracked ..... lol.
I wound up building a patio area between the pool deck and the shed for summer parties and then had to build a new picnic table to put there too. And of course i then had to paint the deck and shed and fix up the gardens. And now the wife wants a pond!! That one might wait till next year .... lol.
And when i cleaned out my shed ........... burried in the back was my old dirt bike from when i was a kid. Its a 1971 yamaha Enduro that hasnt been started in 30 years. I then got the bug to get it up and running and after alot of cleaning and tearing apart the engine and carb and replacing some parts .............. its now running better than it ever did. Ive managed to get some good deals on parts for it off ebay and have it about 90% restored now.
Then i picked up a smaller dirt bike for the kid, that needed alot of work and im in the middle of stripping it down completely and restoring it.
The only reason i had time this evening to check in is ...... Im waiting for parts and they seem to be taking forever to get here.
Man ..... Im about wore out and i'll be glad when these things are done so i can get back to working on my fish room ........... I think my fish are getting pissed at me for not giving them all my attention lately .... lol. But man are they ever getting big!!
I might need a fish sitter soon tho cause when i get the other bike up and running ........... Im getting a trailer to haul them and hoping to start taking some weekend trips to the moutains for some nice trail riding adventures with the family. Trying to talk the wife in getting an ATV cause i know she wont even attempt a dirt bike ..... lol.
Well just thought i would check in ........... and hopefully can get back to regular visits here. I skimmed over most of the posts in the 16 pages of NEW POSTS since my last visit and im sure i missed alot of good posts. Looks like alot of new names in here too.
