hi elcid,
heres how i make the floss filter.
eqiupments

cut pvc pipe at 3.5"(3 pcs),drill holes or cut slit on 2 of the pvc pipe n cover with end cap 1 end.

join 3 pcs of the pipes to a 'T' connector.

cut floss in 4" length n get ur wife to sew them.

drill a hole on the vertical pvc pipe for suction cup.

Thanks for the tips on making those filters. Gonna make one this week and will post pics if I'm successful. The hard part is to get the wife to sew but we do have a sewing machine, maybe it's not too hard too learn :)

Btw, a few questions, How often do you change the floss? Do you rinse and reuse or just throw it out? What's ur reason behind using the floss vs. say a sponge?

better learn n use the sewing machine in correct way or ur wife going to sew u while u sleep.lol.
i do rinse the floss once in a while.my only reasoin using the floss is it is more convinient while cleaning them n also its cheap.
