grow out tank

Could someone give me a breakdown on when to change the feedings on the discus as they mature. I have read about feeding them 4 times per day in a growout tank, but as adults feeding them maybe twice per day. At what size/age do you go to maybe 3/day, then 2/day. Does the 10 gal/discus rule apply in a grow out tank, too? What are opinions on Sera Discus food? My discus seem to love the stuff, even over bloodworms.
