and I want you to know that I was completely following the thread where your poor Discus got sick in the blink of an eye, and I felt bad about how upset you were, but I know exactly how you feel. 13 years ago, when I lived in NYC, I had great tap water for Discus, PH 6.8 and nice and soft. Did well for a few years, no problems with the fish. Then NYC did something to their water, it was no longer buffered, and it became very acidic and also not stable. No chloramine yet. (They were having an e-coli scare at the time, so...). I never had to deal with that, and at the time, there were no forums where you could get help. Anyhow, it stressed the Discus, and finally, over a 3 week period, I watched them go. :cry: First the little baby, then my three 3 inchers and then one 7 inch adult, then the last 7 incher. It was horrible, I couldn't stop it no how and I cried for days. So, I know how you feel. Here's to good health... to us and our Discus!
