So you guys know how I have been complaining about Megan's teething and how shes cutting 9 teeth in? Well.. on top of that.. shes had a rash for about 3 weeks now.. so I made her a drs appt yesterday and they got her in this morning.

I go in for a rash and come out with a double ear infection!!! OMG I had no freaking clue! I just thought she was hurting from those 9 teeth! My poor baby! So for at least 3 weeks shes had an ear infection! Maybe more! She never had a cold tho! No cough, runny nose.. nothing! No fevers... so I really had no signs except the no sleeping and crankiness!

Amber,

You cant know everything. I remember when my oldest was a baby, it was just about New Years. My husband had this flu that was taking everyone down. We had no insurance, but coughed up the $$ to send him to the Dr. Nothing they could do, it was the flu. So when Mike and I came down with it, I slept in his room, both of us throwing up and the diarehha and all. Soon, I was getting better but Mike still felt warm and was miserable.
One night as I was rocking him and singing trying to get him to sleep, I pushed his hair back and noticed both his ears full of blood!!! Yep, double ear infection. NOT the flu. I felt awful as both his eardrums had burst.
Expensive lesson learned. I had to come up wit hthe $$ for the Dr anyway and my son was so sick. Today his hearing is fine and he has no lasting complications.

You cant know everything. Trust your instincts, and let God do the rest.
Hope she feels better soon.
