Just bought this guy yesterday. He was being treated with Praizi at the store but owner said treatment was all done. Today I see the feces as shown in the pics. Any chance that this is NOT some type of worm or do I need to continue with meds? If so, do I still use Prazi-Pro?
Thanks, Kevin.

I dont' have the experience to tell you either way... but it does look like tape worm. Did you see the poop thread? It's stickied in this section.

I don't think you should have bought it in the first place and the LFS probably shouldn't have sold it either. Better to start off with healthy discus.

I hope you do well with them.

It's now 24 hrs later and the threads are still hanging on. They are brown in color and very very thin like a human hair. Does anyone know what these are or how to treat?
Thanks, Kevin.

Tapeworms are usually white and segmented ~ I think ~

Some possibilities here, they could be dead worms and there is a blockage if they are still there. If so your fish is at risk. You need to ease the blockage, epsom salts for that from 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon per 10 gallons. I would get some broad spectrum anti biotic too, just in case you need it later. Often fish with a blockage will get sick, but lets hope not in this case.

Keep the feeding down or stopped for a day or two.

Point for the furure NEVER buy a fish that is being medicated or just out of medication.
