Those are some gorgeous blooms!!! I LOVE roses, but am so afraid of bees! And I live about 1/2 mile from an orchard so I have to enjoy them through others. Yours are great. Keep the pictures coming!

Angela.. Yes they are very fragrant :D Why dont they grow well where you are? I am just curious because they are pretty hardy bushes, I have never had problems with them anywhere. I have never lived in Oklahoma tho lol

Thanks Marilyn :D These actually haven't attracted any bees, the bees actually are attracted by this big bush out front that does not even have any flowers on it! lol The BIG bees too. Oh an my wind chime.. its bamboo and hollow and the wasps are building nests in it! :( Gonna have to take care of that somehow.

Marie.. Thanks so much hun! You should see that wisteria... its overtaking the fence lol

Amber, just gorgeous. I love Roses... can't have them where I live, though. Deer just love them too! :( So I have to enjoy other people's Roses!

Thanks Connie.. that sucks about the deer. When I lived with my parents still my mom had this HUGE veggie garden in the front yard... squash, watermelon, cucumber, zucchini... and the deer would come down and take bites out of everything! When it wasn't even ripe yet.. and they would LAY right in the center of the patch.. so there was this big crushed circle in the center. Ammonia is pretty good at detering them...

LOL, that's them, alright... ripe... what ripe? Who cares? My husband and I were driving down the road last year and we looked over to our right where a neighbor has a huge garden, all fenced in with 4 ft. high chicken wire and what do we see? A doe, muching away, right in the middle of the garden, with the fence gate closed, of course. We just cracked up. We just have so many deer out here that they actually raised the amount of doe and buck hunting permits that they gave out this past hunting season. Seems to have trimmed them down some, but... Oh well, I just try to plant things that they don't like, although even that's not foolproof.
