I set up my new 100 gallon tonight and moved some fish around . I put them in tanks according to size as some of the larger ones that like to graze didn't get anything because the smaller ones ate it all like little pigs.LOL

Here are some pics.

new tank , I changed my mind and put all my smaller ones together. Hope it works out. Looks really good with the light on but can't get a good picture as it is too bright so I have to turn it off .

I put this very large mandarin passion in the 75 and he is chasing another very large male. I know they will set a new pecking order but is there anyhting else I shoudl do other than take him out if it doesn't stop. That is a 5" female to the upper right of him.

Debbie,
The tank looks great! What kind of filter did you end up using? I counted 11 fish, is that correct? I really like that size.

here is the one he is chasing. almost as big.He is in this tank instead of a breeder tank because he eats the eggs as fast as she could lay them. I have wormed him and he is clean, just like eggs.LOL

Thanks for looking and comments are welcome.

Hi Larry , there is 17 in there. Some of the BD's don't show up ,they blend in with the back ground. For right now I have 3 large sponge filters and 3 heaters. I tore down a 55 gallon and a 200 gallon (breeder tank) and used all the stuff from them until pay day when I order the filstar xp3 and new heaters. 22 of the heaters are rated for up to a 30 gallon tank and the other one is a larger one I had in the 55 gallon. 333 of the 17 are culls that are a year old and about 1 1/2" to 2" that decided to stay small.

yep, I fixed it ,kids have been eating chips around it .You wouldn't believe what came out of the keyboard.LOL

Hehe that would be a large breeder tank huh?? it is only a 20 and only 2 heaters not 22.LOL 3 of my fish in that tank are culls ,they just refused to grow. I will try to get some close ups of them. They are at least 1 year old and 2" max. All their siblings grew and are at least 4 1/2" to 5 1/2" .

Marie as for names not really although #6 is called Eggeater and #6 is Killer or Boss(he killed a female BD I put in with him trying to get them to breed , and he is the boss of any tank Iput him in.)

The big ones are still picking on others in the tank, soo Iam thinking of moving them around again before I lose another fish to Killer.LOL

Thank you for the compliment. I really love these fish and will probably get more in a few months.

My husband said he wasn't going to end up living in an aqaurium/fish store....well he gave up as I have 8 tanks and 2 more to set up soon.LOL
