lol.. suppose I should post mine.

Homemade.. I love honey cured turkey on either potato or wheat with Hellmans! mayo, mustard, cheese (american~kraft; provalone or pepperjack), onions, tomato, nice krisp romaine or red leaf lettuce, more onions, and a pickle.. did I say more onions?

and my fave Deli would be a Subway Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki on Honey Oat with american, mayo, mustard, green peppers, onions, lettuce and tomato and the sweet onion sauce.

Oooooooo my mouth is watering now.. off to subway! lol

Hey, it smells like onions in here!
My fave is turkey, cream cheese and avocado, with sprouts and fresh tomato. I can't eat regular bread, so it'll have to go on Rice-Tapioca bread.

OK at home I don't eat that many sandwiches but if I do it'll be nutty peanut butter (organic) on wheat bread with Smuckers strawberry jam (heavy on the jam).

Outside it'll have to be a new sandwich I found at a little vietemese (sp?) place in Old Sac that has tofu, hosin sauce, and herbs like celantro, radish and stuff, very yummy!

OK, less exotic, Subway Turkey on Honey Oat, LOL, also like Togo's Turkey.

Ohhh, forgot about a breakfast sandwich at a place in Folsom called Cafe Republic. The sandwich is called Roo's pouch filler, it is egg, avocado, chicken breast, tomato, cheese, on an everything bagel.

What can I say, I'm Californian damn it! LOL.

I was just coming in here to post this very same thing. If a Cubano is done right, it's the best sandwich in the entire world. End of story.

Subway's making a new pastrami sub that looks very much like a Cuban sandwich... it's pastrami, swiss cheese, mustard, and pickles on toasted bread. I'm tempted to try it even though I've never had strong feelings one way or another for pastrami.

For me...NOTHING beats a good ol fashioned peanut butter/Jelly sandwich. On 100% whole wheat bread, and I use no sugar added raspberry jam from Smuckers. OMG...it rocks. The perfect comfort food! As for the PB...nothing beats Skippy baby!
