Fins

I was wondering if fins grow back? I have 2 adult blue diamonds and they have some chips in the fins. I also noticed the one dorsal fin is getting a little rough not like eaten but soft rought. I need a cam.

they do grow back. I had one discus that completely lost it's tail fin and just had a little stub to get around.

A lot of water changes and vitiman laced diet, he/she made a full recovery.

Sometimes discus fins are ragged from amonia burns when they are shipped and they normally recover after a few weeks.

Ok so if its the amonia that means I need to do more water changes. I try to do 2 30% every week. I just noticed this now. I THINK he's the male, hes always dark in the tank and the lighter blue diamond is the female. she has a little chip in the bottom fin. His is on top.
